Kos has many historical sights from ancient history. These sights are extremely important to world and Greek history. These sights included, but are not limited to:
-Tree of Hippocrates
-Asclepeion
-Neratzia Castle
All of these historical landmarks are extremely fascinating and interesting. Most of these attractions had a major spot in historical events. such as the Tree of Hippocrates where the Father of Medicine, Hippocrates, taught his students the field of medicine. And, the Asclepeion where Hippocrates made his doctors take the doctor oath. (The one being referred here is the one in Kos. There are many Asclepeion throughout Greece, but the one in Kos is where Hippocrates made his doctors take the doctor oath.)
